The Historical Committee exists to encourage development of American Baptist identity through American Baptist history. It gathers and preserves important documents and artifacts and disseminates information about our Connecticut Baptist history. It also helps member churches, associations and related institutions with historical research and assists them in safeguarding their historical documents. Finally, the committee helps them with their celebration of anniversaries and their significant historical events.
