Ministry can be exhausting. Not only that, all the good things we do for others may not actually help them in the way we dream of. In this presentation you'll learn what to do instead. You will get clear about what kind of "helping" causes dependency in others, and how to truly help others without wearing yourself out.
Facilitator - Margaret Marcuson, author of Leaders Who Last: Sustaining Yourself and Your Ministry and Money and Your Ministry: Balance the Books While Keeping Your Balance. She speaks and writes on leadership and works with leaders around the US and Canadaas a consultant and coach. An American Baptist minister, Margaret was the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Gardner, MA for 13 years.
The clinic format is as follows: a Zoom meeting during which the presenter will discuss the topic, followed by a face-to-face luncheon a week later during which participants can discuss the topic and raise any questions they might have, and then, another week later, a 2nd Zoom meeting during which unanswered questions and further related issues can be addressed with the presenter.
The cost of the clinic is $8 to cover the lunch meeting the second week.
